Matthew House is a safe-haven for refugees who have had to flee their countries and have arrived at our doorstep. Without a supportive environment like Matthew House to provide short-term assistance, these people would be homeless, hungry, and struggling to navigate the complex immigration system of a foreign country, often in a foreign language. Hundreds of refugee claimants arrive in Ottawa, and thousands in Canada, each year. We will be here with a warm welcome.
